We JUST got back from Cambria and Alyssa & Don's wedding. Wow... what a GREAT weekend we had with some beautiful, amazing people. All the family, friends, wedding party, vendors, everyone, were so friendly and very easy to work with. The venue was beautiful and the hotel staff was superb. Jennifer and I had such a wonderful time this weekend and we can't thank everyone enough for sure. Alyssa & Don, congrats and thanks for the hospitality, friendship, and fun we had this weekend!!

First of all, this place is amazing and beautiful. We are staying at the Cambria Pines Lodge and when we got here the front desk upgraded our room for us for FREE. This room is about the size of my and Jenn's first apartment! It's SWEET! So anyway, last night we had the rehearsal for Alyssa and Don. It was super quick and then we all went out to the rehearsal dinner at the Indigo Moon restaurant in downtown Cambria. The food was unreal and we met some awesome people. It's not often we get invited to the rehearsal dinners but it was definitely a treat! Hopefully tonight I can post more photos from the wedding.

Seriously... where do I begin this blog entry. Every wedding we shoot is very special to us and every client that comes to us is a blessing. Nichole & Oscar were just simply put... amazing. This is one of the most fun weddings I have ever photographed. I seem to say that after every wedding I shoot but I think it's simply because of the pure love for what I do. I get to photograph BEAUTIFUL people all year long and it's a huge blessing. Nichole & Oscar had a full Catholic mass ceremony and it was so great to be a part of that. They even had a choir that blew me away!! Then it was off to the Downtown Club for the reception. All in all again, it was just an amazing day. We can't thank you guys enough for letting us be a part of it and as always, Derek did an incredible job shooting "behind the scenes".

It had been a while since WE actually did any family pictures so Jennifer thought it would be a good idea to attempt some since Michael is all healed up from his surgery. Here's the details of this shoot...

A. We just wanted it to be completely casual. B. I used NO light modifiers at all (flash,bouncers,etc) C. It is what it is... D. We had a GREAT time together!! E. I used a lot of "Super Happy Fun" action from Totally Rad Actions....get them if you don't have them!

We met Amanda and Chris over in Monterey this afternoon for an awesome engagement shoot. They were SO easy to photograph and just seemed extremely comfortable in front of the camera. We took 247 pictures of them!! I think that sets a new record as far as eshoots goes for me! All in all we had a great day and they were an absolute blast to be around. I really look forward to their amazing wedding! Thanks you guys!!
